fi-compass is pleased to announce the upcoming ‘Thematic workshop on Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship’, organised by the European Commission, Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL), and the European Investment Bank (EIB), and taking place on 10 September 2019, in Lisbon.
The fi-compass community will have the opportunity to know more about the potential for financial instruments co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) to support initiatives and enterprises with measurable social impact.
Details about this workshop will follow soon, and online registrations will open at end of June 2019.
The Portuguese Social Innovation (PSI) Initiative case study, which is the pioneering initiative in this domain, which will be discussed during the workshop, sheds the light on innovative ESF financing instruments that are being implemented during the 2014-2020 programming period in Portugal.
