On 24, 25 and 26th May, the partners of SIMRA project will meet in Aberdeen for the kick-off of the four-year project “Social Innovation in Marginalised Rural Areas” (SIMRA). This project is funded through the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 research programme and started officially on 1st April 2016.
The project aims to categorise and understand social innovation in different settings (thanks to various case studies) in order to develop an integrated set of methods for the evaluation of social innovation and its impact on rural areas, analyse the success factors for social innovation and disseminate new knowledge to policy-makers.
